Unscheduled Maintenance – Windows

Summary:
There is currently an outage on the NT0 windows hosting server preventing any sites on that server from displaying. Technicians are working to restore the server back to normal.

Update 09:39 AEDST
Our technicians have identified the cause of this issue as a corrupted boot sector on NT0. All customer’s web sites are stored on a separate drive and data integrity is intact. We are in the process of creating IIS accounts on a new server. As we work through this process customer’s web sites will come back online.

Part of the process of moving sites to a new server is to change the site’s IP address. We can update the IP address of all the sites we manage the DNS. Sites whose DNS is managed externally need an update made to their IP address. Currently your site will have an IP address of 117.104.160.23. This needs to be updated to 117.104.160.27.

Word is continuing on the affected sites.

Update 14:33 AEDST
The majority of sites are live again. If you site had some custom settings applied to it they may need to be replicated on the new server.
