Early on Thursday morning we require a one hour outage window to upgrade our SAN storage infrastructure.

This software upgrade will allow us to increase capacity and performance.

Update 00:19 AEST: The upgrade is now complete. The failover of the SAN storage worked as planned and hence there was no disruption to service during this period.

Issues relaying to Optusnet email addresses

Our email systems are currently experiencing delays with forwarding email to optusnet.com.au addresses. We are currently working on a resolution for this issue.

NT3 server outage

There is currently a problem with the NT3 windows web server. Sites hosted on that server will be unavailable. Technicians are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

The problem with NT3 has now been resolved.

Sites hosed on the ‘New’ Ilisys Power Cluster may have been unavailable, displaying 403 Forbidden errors, or displaying PHP/CGI coding due to a configuration glitch on some nodes in the cluster.

The issue has been identified and has now been resolved. We appologise for the inconvenience caused by this outage.

The service that is used to handle sessions in our clustered environment is due to be replaced with a more reliable server. This process should take no longer than 5 minutes as it will simply be switched from on server to another.

Update: We have successfully replaced this server, full functionality should now be restored.

Sites restored from snapshot

A small number of sites will have experienced an outage since last week due to a glitch in an automated process.  The glitch meant the current copy of the site was removed and replaced with a holding page.These sites have been identified and restored from our latest snapshots.

Measures have been taken to ensure such glitches will not occur in the future, our apologies to anyone who’s site has been affected by this outage.

Server maintenance outage

Incorrect DNS for some clustered sites

During a recent DNS update a small handful of site’s zone files were configured with older DNS entries. This meant that these sites may have been pointing to the incorrect cluster for from late yesterday to early today. This issue has now been resolved. Ilisys appologies for any inconvience.

Delays on phone

Ilisys clients may have trouble getting through to our support team during busy times as we implement a new telephony system enabling team members in our Melbourne office to answer calls.

Our apologies in advance for any delays caused during this period. It is currently estimated that it will be resolved by 12:00 AEST on 2nd July.

Update 2/07/08, 12:20PM: We are still working closely with our telephone vendors to finalise this change. We’re still hopeful to have this completed before the end of the day.

Update 3:30PM: A solution is currently in place for our technical support number (1800 995 645). Any customers wishing to speak with our technical support department should contact this number directly.

We anticipate having the changes made to the general 1800 999 618 line in place before the end of the day.

Update 3/07/08: The changes to our telephone lines was finalised last night. Callers today would have been able to reach team members from both officers without too much delay.
