Email delays
July 18th, 2007 13:11 AET

A problem with a slave ldap server has caused email queues to build up. We have switch the delivery mail server to use another ldap server and mail is flowing again, albeit slowly. We are in the process of repairing the slave ldap server and are working to reduce the mail queues as quickly as possible.

Update 14:00 AEST: The slave ldap server has been fixed, mail is now flowing faster and queues are coming down.

Update 16:45 AEST: With the addition of an extra mail delivery server, mail queues are now back to normal.  Ilisys apologises for the delay in processing email.

Extra Tier-1 uplink commissioned
July 4th, 2007 01:12 AET

A new dedicated 100 Mb Telstra uplink has now been commissioned.

With this Telstra link working alongside our existing Optus 100 Mb link, The Ilisys data-centre will now offer 200 Mb of dedicated Tier-1 connectivity. With this upgrade in place, the full redundancy within our internal network infrastructure will be extended to our upstream bandwidth providers.
