Due to a server configuration error some sites on the Windows server NT2 would have experienced a short outage between 14:35 and 15:00 AEST. This issue has now been resolved.
We just had to reboot one of our Windows servers, NT0 (188.8.131.52), to fix a problem. Apologies for the short outage on those sites affected.
MySQL services have been restarted on our MySQL servers. This would have caused a short interuption in service for those site using a MySQL database.

Our mail queue’s are currently slightly higher than normal which is causing a short delay on mail delivery at the moment. Mail queues will be back to normal shortly.
Update: mail queues are back to normal as at 11:45 AEDT
A problem with one of our delivery mail servers has caused a brief interruption to email delivery to accounts. The problem has been resolved but there is a backlog of email to deliver. We expect the queue to return to normal levels in around 15 to 20 minutes. No email has been lost.

Network isolation during a 15 minute outage window
Replace temporary Optus equipment with permanent replacements
Early on Thursday morning, Optus will be replacing their temporary network equipment installed last Sunday morning with a permanent replacement.
This will require a 15 minute outage as Ilisys will be isolated from the internet while the new equipment is configured.
